CYR3000 Outdoor Optical Node
Description
CYR3000 outdoor optical node is a high performance four output optoelectronic node. The model of CYR3000 can be configured with a variety of forward optical receivers and reverse optical transmitters, providing flexibility for use in multiple applications. The module design is suitable for duplex HFC network development and scalable in broadcast & TV, telephone and data transmission at the edge of art. The CYR3000 station is widely used in the Metro area HFC Network system from medium to large scale city. Each station can support three forward optical receivers, two reverse return transmitters and two power supply modes. Redundant optical receiver and transmitter capability allow optical path redundancy, enabling network reliability. All of the modules are plug and play and can be connected or communicated within the station.
Features

Function Description
A. Forward path
The station includes 3 optical receivers, each of them can receive TV and digital signal 45-870MHz, the A and B channel are automatically swapped each other according to the signal existed. If A channel loses the signal, the station switches to the B channel.
Three configurations recommendable:
1. Use C path individually for TV and data transmission
2.  A master path,B backup path(both TV and data)
3. C path for TV, A and B path for data
Local RF input is available for lacal RF signal Mix in and upgrading in the future, example for CMTS Downstream insertion.
B. Reverse Path
Each output port has its independent reverse path, and return signal goes into reverse path via each splitter, every path can monitor, deamplify and equalize the return signal. Moreover, the headend can control the path on and off during the status monitoring is on. This function is very useful for scaling the reverse path step by step and convenient to inspecting the interference by area.
Base Configuration
One reverse transmitter: 1st and 2nd return signal pre-mixed, 3rd and 4th pre-mixed and then they are combined with a low pass filter to filtering the forward signal. The input level of return transmitter is 75-80 dBuv.
Redundant Configuration
Two reverse transmitter: 4 return signals pre-mixed and then splitted into two signals for each return optical transmitter. As the two transmitter have different redundant optical routine, the headend can switch automatically the two signals from different directions.
Configuration for Cut Apart Subscriber
The pre-mixed return signal of path 1st and path 2nd or path 3rd and path 4th are separately sent to each returned transmitter, having the subscriber on each node will be half the base configuration.
Power Supply
Two hot redundant Power Supply module space can support high reliability. Each power supply will carry the full functions of the node. Soft start protect the node to avoid the surge of current.
Network Management
CYR3000 optical node network management system that adepts international standard is fully compatible with HMS, SNMP protocol and available for the interconnection among different manufacture products. The CYR3000 optical Node corresponder uses Synchronized Gathering Technology all over the network, which makes it possible for headend collecting corresponder data simultaneously and precisely. HFC network management system, can control the optical receiver, return transmitter on/off, monitor the optical output, off-set current of return transmitter, current/voltage, temperature of the shall and RF output level. This system is also an efficient tool for keeping the network well and maintaining high reliability. Status monitoring software can be combined with geographic information of the network. All of the parameters of the node can be shown on the map and managed identically.
Factory Default Setting
Four ports are in high output status, HF: 108dBuv, slope: 7-10dB
